IVolAI Now Available in Telegram, Discord, and Slack — with Email Alert Delivery

We've shipped a new capability for IVolatility API subscribers: IVolAI — the AI assistant bundled with your API access — now runs in Telegram, Discord, Slack, and email. Connect any of them once, and from that point on you can chat with IVolAI, run backtests, and receive scheduled alerts directly from your messenger, with the same memory and tools available in the browser.

Chat with IVolAI in your messenger

Once connected, your Telegram DM (or Discord, or Slack) becomes a full IVolAI terminal. Same memory, same context, same tools you have in the browser — no need to open a tab.

Example queries:

"What's the implied move on NVDA this earnings?"
"Screen S&P 500 for high IV rank — what's worth selling premium on?"
"Run a short straddle backtest on AAPL, 7 DTE, last 3 years."

Backtest result summaries are delivered in the chat. Full interactive reports remain accessible via the Results Dashboard in your workspace.

Messenger responses are delivered while your workspace is running. If the workspace is stopped, messages queue and are answered once it starts again.

Scheduled alerts and threshold signals

Alerts and scheduled tasks are set up in plain language — no dashboard, no config files. Two types:

Recurring scheduled tasks run at fixed intervals and deliver the result to the chat.

"Every Monday at 9 AM, send me the top 20 S&P 500 by IV rank."
"Every Sunday evening, send me next week's earnings with implied move."

Threshold alerts fire when a specified condition is met. Silent when nothing happens — no daily-digest-of-nothing spam.

"Alert me if IV on TSLA jumps more than 20% in a day."
"Alert me when my IVolatility API requests drop below 10%."

Most alerts run as scripts and use direct API calls rather than AI compute, so they keep firing even when your AI balance hits zero.

Route anything to email

Any alert or scheduled task result can be delivered to email in addition to, or instead of, a messenger. Your IVolatility account email is linked by default. To add or route to another address, just say so in the chat.

"Send Monday's IV screen to my email too."
"Send the earnings alert only to email."

Full control from the chat

Every scheduled task and alert can be listed, paused, resumed, or deleted through commands in the messenger:

"Show my scheduled tasks."
"Pause the Monday screen."
"Delete the earnings alert."
"Run the Monday screen now."

No admin panel to learn, no separate settings page.

Connect in under 60 seconds

Telegram — "connect Telegram", then press Start on the personal bot link
Discord — "connect Discord", join the IVolatility Discord server, then DM the bot the code you received
Slack — "connect Slack", then DM the code to the IVolAI bot in your workspace
Email — linked to your account address by default
